About Industrial Images

This is my lil space on the web for my personal photography. They are not all meant to be masterpieces. They are just some that I have shot for myself when I get an idea in my head that I have to shoot. Out takes of other projects. Personal works. Vacation photographs. Images from old shoots. Or just an idea I am working on but may not have complete yet, but want to share the idea or concept. In any case, enjoy what I have here!

NYC Alley Fountain

alley fountain

I must have a thing for fountains. This one we found in New York City.  It looks like a building was torn down and a small alley park was put in its place.  The fountain covered the entire end of the alley from wall to wall, about 40 feet wide. The light illuminating the water was the only light available. And it actually lit the place very nice. It gave the alley a soft glow that was very welcoming. I think it is one of my favorite spots in NYC. The bad thing is I didn’t make a note of where it is. So going back will be kinda hard.

Chocolate Fountian

Las Vegas 2008_0468

We ran across this in a casino in Las Vegas.  It is about 20 feet tall! There is a white chocolate, milk chocolate, and dark chocolate fountain combined to make one big fountain. The glass parts are custom hand made pieces. It is behind sheet glass to keep the air at about 90 degrees so the chocolate will not harden, the chocolate it self is heated to about 120 degrees if I remember correctly. It looks fake even in real life, until you get as close as you can and actually see the flow of the chocolate go from one glass to another. The flow is so smooth it is hard to detect. Not like water that will easily show the movement.
